Hello, today I'll tell you about my favorite meal 😁 My favorite meal consists of a dish with a protein (steak) and two sides (french fries and tomatoes). It's quite simple but incredibly delicious, especially when the meat is perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. The preparation involves seasoning the meat with salt, pepper, garlic, a touch of oregano, and cumin. This can be done in the oven or in a pan (I prefer the pan for that perfect sear). Additionally, we heat the oil to fry the potatoes and, finally, peel and slice the tomatoes. I really like this dish because, despite its simplicity, it's very rich and fulfilling. Moreover, it has always been the meal I request for my birthday or "special" occasions. Truth be told, it does have an impact on my health since it's no secret that fried foods can be quite unhealthy. Furthermore, the seasonings and tomatoes are not very friendly to my irritable bowel, but it doesn't matter – I'll keep eating it HAHAHH...

Hello! Today, I'll talk to you about my favorite anime 😊. The anime is called 'Haikyu!!,' and it's about high school boys playing volleyball. Truth be told, it's not just about sports, as this anime delves into teamwork, perseverance, discipline, determination, frustration, knowing how to lose, and learning to push forward despite any challenges that come your way. It explores how one can shine without innate 'talent,' and much more This anime was my salvation when I first watched it, and it continues to be so to this day. The fact that one can relate closely to each of the characters makes it very special. So, if you feel like watching a great anime, I would recommend this one a thousand times because I know that, just like me, it would also help you see life in a different way  ♥

Hello, today I will talk to you about my favorite piece of technology. Well, my favorite piece is my computer, since I've liked video games since I was child, so most of the time I use my computer to play online games, and I feel that it's better than any other console because I can take it everywhere and, therefore, play anywhere. It's also the best option for university assignments; its use is very easy, fast, and comfortable. For the same reason, it has had a positive impact on my life because it serves me for everything, both academically and personally. That's why I highly recommend its use, because it serves for EVERYTHING and it's very easy to use, although it's somewhat complicated to understand how to choose a computer due to all its components. So, before buying one, you have to read the specifications very carefully and see which one is the best for the use you want to give it.

Blog 2 - Why did I choose my major?

Hello! Well, I study anthropology, and I'm in my first year, so I'm still thinking about which specialization to choose. In my major, we have 2 years of common coursework and then 3 years of specialization. I believe I'll go into either archaeology or physical anthropology because I've always been interested in material remains of any kind. I really enjoy the idea that we can reconstruct the past and give it meaning (and even a bit of identity) based on these materials. That's what fascinates me about both of these specializations. Actually, my experience has been quite good. At the beginning, I was quite unsure if I liked it or not because I found it difficult to understand. However, after a month, everything clicked into place, and now I really enjoy all my courses. What's even better is that we have a course that is solely focused on archaeology and physical anthropology (I can't upload pictures due to ethical reasons, but we've seen animal remains, a...

Hi!👋 My name is Paula Romero and I'm 19 years old. My zodiac sign is Libra, which is the best one among all! I’m studying anthropology, and why I choose it is closely related to the fact of where I grew up in. My hometown is Calama, and there are many places in the surrounding area where archaeology is present. Because of that, I hope to specialize in archaeology when I finish the common curriculum. Other facts about me are that I really enjoy writing, watching anime, korean doramas, bl series, and listening to music. Thanks to moving to Santiago, I've had the opportunity to see several of my favorite Korean singers perform live. The latest one I went to see was the Chinese singer Jackson Wang (it was beautiful). I came to study in Santiago, and I left behind many things. But what has affected me the most is leaving my family. In Calama, I lived with my parents, my grandma, my sister, and my dog, who fortunately have been able to visit us from time to time. However, it'...
