 Hi!馃憢

My name is Paula Romero and I'm 19 years old. My zodiac sign is Libra, which is the best one among all! I’m studying anthropology, and why I choose it is closely related to the fact of where I grew up in. My hometown is Calama, and there are many places in the surrounding area where archaeology is present. Because of that, I hope to specialize in archaeology when I finish the common curriculum.

Other facts about me are that I really enjoy writing, watching anime, korean doramas, bl series, and listening to music. Thanks to moving to Santiago, I've had the opportunity to see several of my favorite Korean singers perform live. The latest one I went to see was the Chinese singer Jackson Wang (it was beautiful).

I came to study in Santiago, and I left behind many things. But what has affected me the most is leaving my family. In Calama, I lived with my parents, my grandma, my sister, and my dog, who fortunately have been able to visit us from time to time. However, it's still very difficult to get used to not being with your loved ones daily

She is my older sister, her name is Ema, she is 22 years old and she studies industrial civil engineering. She is the most important person in my life and the one who accompanies me every day in this great city of Santiago.

Her name is Kokowawa, we adopted her in December 2019, so she's about to turn 4 years old. She really enjoys sleeping, eating, going for walks, being with my family, and she absolutely loves stealing food.

Another important people in my life are my friends. I'm fortunate enough that three of them have come to study in Santiago while the other two study in the north. But, whenever we are all in Calama, we have our "semester gathering” where we all catch up.

However, thanks to university I’ve met five people who have quickly become a fundamental part of my life. I'm grateful that wherever I am, I'll always have people to accompany me馃槉.

  2. Hello Paula! It's great to know that we're from such close communities. I share with you this whole process of moving to a city as far away as Santiago. Regarding one of your hobbies, can you recommend any anime or Korean drama that you've recently enjoyed? I'm looking for new series to watch. Take care, and see you in class!

    1. I can recommend one of my favorite animes, which is Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. You've probably heard of it, but Attack on Titan (Shingeki No Kyojin) is also a very good anime. If you're looking for a specific style, just let me know! :)

  6. Paula. I can't believe we are similar in some ways. I'm 19 years old, I am a Libra sign but I don't believe much in the zodiac and I also changed cities to be able to study.
